The exhibit, Celebrating Our Differences, will show at the Ogunquit Playhouse while performances of Mr. Holland’s Opus run from August 12th through September 17th, 2022. Art exhibited in the theater lobby will echo the beauty, value, and strength found in the many ways people differ. At its core, the story of Mr. Holland’s Opus is about celebrating diversity. This art call invites New England artists to submit their work supporting the ideals that differences are strengths to be embraced, and that individuality should be celebrated. All 2-dimensional mediums are eligible. The artwork will be selected and curated by Anita Loomis, of Loomis Gallery in Kittery, who is acting as exhibit manager. There are size limits for the artwork so that we can fit as many pieces in the available space as possible.
